The Ocean Reef M101A is a receiver unit that functions on one channel. The M101A fits any normal mask band or any full face mask.

How does communication work?

This is a receiver unit, you also need a communication unit. This receiver unit is completed on your full face mask of the mask band of a normal mask. The wear is then exactly what the person has communicated with the communication. But there is more, you can also detach this unit from your mask (from attaching directly to a retractor) and keeping it near other divers of all your hair when they do not have full face mask. This is ideal for giving instructions!

How does this M101A communication unit work?

The unit turns on automatically when it comes into contact with water and uses a 9V battery. When the battery is almost empty, a 'battery voltage' alarm sounds every 30 seconds. The battery life is about 30 hours. The signal is opened and managed via a sonar method. The range is almost 200 meters.
